Peacocks Tail Train Feathers




Every year in the late summer the male peacocks lose all their tail train feathers. This is a signal to identify that the breeding season is over. The first year that we had Rainbow papa we were shocked to see all those tail feathers on the ground. Now we know that this is normal and are excited to collect the beautiful peacock tail feathers. Here are some pictures of this transition.

Growing Baby Pea Fowls




Our adorable baby pea fowls at one month's of age. They follow mama around everywhere now and can even fly a little.
